Exposed to CRC’s work at a young age, Hope is deeply inspired by the organization’s passion for climate adaptation and community resilience. As a result, she is pursuing a career in Environmental studies and Journalism at Santa Clara University, hoping to continue uplifting underrepresented communities through the media. 

Hope’s love for the environment stems from her mother’s work in climate resiliency, cabin leading in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and working to maintain her ancestral lands in Samoa.
