Jackie Duprey
Resilient Adaptation Project Manager

Jackie serves as the Resilient Adaptation Project Manager at Climate Resilient Communities (CRC), where she aids in facilitating key initiatives such as the San Bruno Community Climate Change Team and the rain garden project in East Palo Alto. With a B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, Jackie brings a strong academic foundation and passion for the intersection of law, policy, and science to her role. Her previous research experience includes prospective impacts on CO2 emissions after large scale implementation of community gardens in San Jose and, separately, an in-depth analysis of wildlife policies in eight Californian cities. Prior to joining CRC, Jackie gained valuable experience working with state and federal legal systems, most recently as a patent assistant at Fenwick & West for two years. Her diverse skill set includes creating organizational communication tools, building diverse relationships with compassion, providing resources and information in Spanish, developing presentations, coordinating multi-step projects, conducting research, translating abstract information into accessible language, and crafting graphic marketing. In her spare time, Jackie likes to volunteer to restore local wildlife habitat.

Jackie's approach emphasizes human connection as the cornerstone to building climate resiliency across the Bay Area, aligning perfectly with CRC's mission of empowering community voices to implement climate solutions.
