Maya Paulo
Resilient Homes Associate

Maya first began working with Climate Resilient Communities in 2019 as an intern while she was attending San José State University. Maya graduated from San José State University in 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and a minor in Child Development. Throughout undergrad, Maya also interned at the California Native Garden Foundation and worked at the SJSU Child Development Center. Now, Maya is working with CRC as an AmeriCorps VISTA Member, working mostly within the Resilient Homes Program. Maya is very passionate about ensuring aspects of environmental justice, education, and equity are carried over into realms of public health, which she is able to do through her work with the Resilient Homes Program. Maya enjoys working directly with community members, building relationships with residents, and connecting residents with services that can improve the safety and comfortability of their homes.
