Theo is a California native. He is passionate about science, environmental sustainability, and education. He volunteered at the Sacramento Zoo throughout high school, educating the public about animals and conservation. In college, he helped lead a sustainability program in his sophomore dorm to encourage others to be more mindful of the environmental impacts of their actions. In addition, as a senior and graduate student, he tutored undergraduate students in the biology core curriculum. He recently obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s in biology focusing on ecology and conservation issues.
Theo hopes to continue to explore ways that his knowledge of science and passion for education can be used to address climate and other environmental challenges throughout his career. He is thrilled to begin by serving on the Climate Resilient Communities Resilient Education team.
